Hogum Powerline Construction is a Nevada-based electrical contractor founded by two industry veterans who have spent their careers building, managing, and maintaining powerlines across the country. We specialize in serving gold mines, rural electric co-ops, and utilities that need a crew they can count on: one that shows up prepared, works to a high standard, and documents everything along the way.
We're not a generalist shop. We focus on distribution-level work under 69kV, which means our crew, our equipment, and our processes are purpose-built for the type of work our clients actually need.

LINE PATROL, INSPECTION & REPAIR
Structure-by-structure patrol and documentation, with repairs handled and reported on the spot.
GROUND GRID TESTING
Thorough testing and detailed reporting of station ground grids and associated equipment.
BRUSH BEATING & LINE CLEARING
Right-of-way clearing using tracked equipment and hand crews, with a fire mitigation plan built in.

Drone-based line patrol and infrared inspection, with full photographic reports.
